Course Description

In this course, learners will be introduced to several key aspects of both leadership theory and strategy, which can be used to help develop a culture of safety within an organization. This course examines organizational culture, communication, conflict management, and the dynamics of teams and team building. New and experienced leaders, at any level, will learn and have the opportunity to apply this knowledge in their roles.

Detailed Course Description and Objectives

Delivery Format

Delivery time: Two days (14 hours)

Instructor-led, virtual classroom: Join AMTA’s instructor and other course participants in training from the comfort of your home or office. Instructor led virtual classroom courses are delivered through the Microsoft Teams app.

In-person classroom: AMTA will schedule in-person classroom courses on demand. A minimum of eight participants are required. Please email training@amta.ca if you’d like to have your name added to a waitlist. Please include the name of the course(s) that you’d like to attend in your email. As soon as there are enough participants, an in-person classroom will be scheduled.

Non-Member: $525 + GST*
